MID TERM EXAMS

I heard you got your timetable so I won't add it to this post.

Here are the areas you will need to review.

LITERATURE:
  • genres of literature
  • elements of prose
  • elements of poetry (stanzas, mood and tone, literary devices etc.)
  • definitions of key terms related to greek mythology (fable, legend, myth, mythology, fable, folk lore, phenomenon) and examples of each
  • types of poems (ballads, sonnets, free verse, dub poetry etc.)
  • identifying examples of various literary devices (simile, metaphor, personification, alliteration, hyperbole )
  • types of imagery (kinetic, olfactory, sight, gustatory etc.)
and ofcourse you will be expected to write an essay comparing two stories that we have done in class from Men and Gods.

LANGUAGE:
  • synonyms
  • antonyms
  • sentence completion
  • spelling
  • identifying the grammatically correct sentence
  • prefix
  • comprehension (story, poetry)
Remember this exam is a multiple choice paper. Sixty (60) multiple choice questions.
